3rd Trusted Microelectronics Workshop
Date: Thursday, August 21st 2014, 8:30am to 12:30pm
Location: BAE Systems Inc., 80 M Street SE, Washington, DC 20003
Please join us for our third workshop designed to identify ways in which Trusted Microelectronics can contribute to greater systems security and information assurance. In this half-day workshop, we plan to continue the dialogue between Government and Industry on the challenges for comprehensive supply chain risk management and program protection.
With participation from both Government and Industry, our workshops have provided an effective forum for direct discussions of the challenges faced by policy makers, program managers, systems developers, and supply chain managers.
Specifically we will address: How do quality and safety protocols connect with microelectronics supply chain security? How can industry address the unique security, quality and safety considerations in defense microelectronics supply chains? How can using Trusted Microelectronics help to mitigate risks in systems safety and product quality, and increase security?
Who should attend: Government and Industry program managers, systems engineers and developers, microelectronics designers, supply chain and sustainment officials, purchasing and procurement professionals, product mangers and operations analysts.
An agenda will be available soon. For more information and to register please visit this website: http://www.ndia.org/meetings/487E/Pages/default.aspx
The Trusted Suppliers Steering Group is organizing the agenda for this half-day workshop to provoke an interactive exchange of ideas to improve security for, and ensure the quality of, defense systems and networks. Representatives from the Trusted Suppliers Steering Group will be on hand to describe how they can address the challenges faced by Government program managers.
The Trusted Suppliers Steering Group is a self-formed alliance of companies that have been accredited by Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) to provide Trusted Microelectronics products and services to Government programs. The Group consists of Aeroflex Corporation, BAE Systems Inc., Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, Honeywell International Inc., Intrinsix Corp, Jazz Semiconductor Trusted Foundry, ONSemiconductor, Photronics Inc., and Teledyne Technologies inc.
