Subject: Trade Secret Theft & Economic Espionage Legislative Review – Call for Public Comment – REMINDER
As you may recall, my office is conducting a review of existing Federal laws related to trade secret theft and economic espionage as called for in the Administration’s Strategy on Mitigating the Theft of U.S. Trade Secrets. To further inform the Administration’s review, IPEC invited the public to submit recommendations for legislative changes to enhance enforcement against, or reduce the risk of, trade secret theft for the benefit of foreign companies or foreign governments. Comments can be submitted electronically through regulations.gov Docket ID: OMB-2013-0002 and are due by April 22, 2013.
Below you will find links to the Administration’s Strategy and launch event. I appreciate your participation in shaping the Administration’s review and look forward to reading your recommendations.
