    “Now that the case is closed, I wonder if we could obtain the particulars of just how this operation was carried out. We should be able to glean some important information that we could incorporate into both DOD and OEM’s Counterfeit Parts mitigation process. do you think?”

    Good point. An example of what you suggest is knowledge gained re ‘remanufactured counterfeits’ associated with this counterfeiting operation presented at various conferences last year. Be on the lookout for various venues where AUSA Schornstien speaks about these investigations.
